The Club, founded in 1902, is located in the heartland of British golf, surrounded as it is by some of the best known and beautiful courses in the country and is on land that had originally been part of Windsor Forest. Our course offers a unique golfing experience for golfers of all abilities.
In the words of Peter Allis “
It is quite magical.” He goes on to say “Rather like looking through the wrong end of a telescope, everything is perfectly proportioned, but smaller and, as a test of golf, it is challenging, particularly for the better player and indeed many professionals have failed to get close to par. Sunningdale Ladies is special. A delightful course, a welcoming clubhouse and a wonderfully cosmopolitan collection of members, all of which go to make it a unique place and a wonderful golfing experience.”

Many find playing to their handicap is difficult on our “jewel” of a course; there are eleven par 3s and seven par 4s, making a total par of 61. The low handicap golfer finds club selection a challenge and the high handicap golfer will find the heather punishing.
Sunningdale Ladies welcomes visitors to the Club throughout the year and unusually can often accomodate tee time requests on weekends!
Membership enquiries are welcome for all categories - Ladies, Gentlemen and Juniors. Many opportunities are presented for visitors to play - with many Open events throughout the year.
The views of our visitors and members are always important to us and we express our deep gratitude to many professionals and respected golfers, who have kindly permitted us to share their views with you..............
"The overall technical difficulty of Sunningdale Ladies Golf Club, more than makes up for the shortage of yardages and in terms of aesthetic, the heathland course is characterised by the balanced harmony that only Harry S. Colt could have envisaged."
Eddie Bullock. 2009 - 'It's all about golf!'
" Sunningdale Ladies Golf course is a challenging test of golf, catering for all - from low to high handicaps. It is a smaller version of it's famed neighbour - tree lined with small greens and requiring accurate shotmaking".
Warren Harmston - Surrey Amateur County Champion 2009.
"From the opening tee shot until the final putt the course tests the golfing skills of all players. The unique collection of par three holes demand accuracy and careful club selection, while the par four holes invitingly tempt the risk and reward of a longer hit. A good short game is essential but is that not what is written about the very best golf courses!"
