The Club, founded in 1902, is located in the heartland of British golf, surrounded as it is by some of the best known and beautiful courses in the country and is on land that had originally been part of Windsor Forest. Our course offers a unique golfing experience for golfers of all abilities.Many find playing to their handicap is difficult on our "jewel” of a course; there are eleven par 3s and seven par 4s, making a total par of 61.

Rather like looking through the wrong end of a telescope, everything is perfectly proportioned, but smaller and, as a test of golf, it is challenging, particularly for the better player and indeed many professionals have failed to get close to par.
