Our Junior Section is headed up by Arlene Robertson and Peter Taylor.
Dear Juniors,
My name is Isaac Gardiner and I will be the junior captain for the year ahead. I am 13 years old with a handicap of 21 and have been a member at Sunningdale Ladies for 3 years. I live in Ascot, as well as golf I play football and I am a keen runner.
Throughout the year there will be many opportunities to play in tournaments and matches so if you don’t have a handicap just yet make sure you complete 3 scorecards so you can take part as much as possible.
When the days get longer and the clocks change I plan to continue the roll up that Charlie started. This gives juniors the chance to get to know each other and for those without handicaps to complete your cards and gain valid experience.
I also will attempt to introduce more matches for our club. For those of you who don’t know there was a group of us who played at Windlesham golf club against their juniors. We all enjoyed the experience and thought it was a great way to compete in a friendly environment. Therefore I will try to fix more club matches on the calendar for next year.
